  1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the EMEA Power Utilities & Infrastructure sector to identify potential investment opportunities for clients.
  2. Collaborate with senior Investment Banking professionals to create and present pitch materials for potential clients.
  3. Build financial models and perform valuation analysis to support investment recommendations and decisions.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advisory and financial solutions to meet their needs.
  5. Monitor market and industry trends, staying updated on regulatory changes and potential impact on clients.
  6. Participate in due diligence processes, including conducting financial and operational analysis of potential investments.
  7. Prepare and present deal summaries and investment recommendations to senior management.
  8. Assist in the execution of transactions, including drafting proposals and negotiating terms.
  9. Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure smooth and efficient deal execution.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and strategies to enhance the team's performance and contribute to overall business growth.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support in their career development.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  13. Stay updated on industry developments and attend relevant conferences and networking events to expand knowledge and network.
  14. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines and procedures.
  15. Represent UBS in a positive and professional manner at all times.

  • Strong Financial Analysis Skills: An Investment Banking Associate In The Emea Power Utilities & Infrastructure Sector At Ubs Must Possess Strong Financial Analysis Skills, Including The Ability To Create Financial Models, Analyze Financial Statements, And Perform Valuation Analysis.

  • Knowledge Of The Power Utilities & Infrastructure Industry: A Thorough Understanding Of The Dynamics And Trends Within The Power Utilities & Infrastructure Industry In The Emea Region Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Key Players, Regulatory Environment, And Current Market Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Investment Banking Associates At Ubs Are Expected To Interact With Clients, Colleagues, And Senior Management On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships, Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Experience In Mergers And Acquisitions: As An Investment Banking Associate, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Mergers And Acquisitions, Including Conducting Due Diligence, Creating Pitch Materials, And Assisting With Deal Execution. Knowledge Of Financing Structures And Deal Documentation Is Also Beneficial.
