Investment Banking Associate- Consumer Products & Retail

UBS is a leading global financial services firm and is looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Consumer Products & Retail team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial markets and a commitment to providing excellent client service.We are seeking an individual with a strong background in finance and a passion for the consumer products & retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a finance degree, at least 3 years of experience in investment banking, and a proven track record of successfully executing complex transactions. In addition, strong financial modelling skills and a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions are essential.The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team. They must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute complex financial transactions for clients in the consumer products & retail industry
2. Analyze financial markets and industry trends to inform investment decisions
3. Create strategic financial models and analyze the impact of potential investments
4. Prepare presentations and reports for clients
5. Work with other team members to identify and evaluate investment opportunities
6. Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new client relationships
7. Monitor industry news and developments to identify new opportunities
8. Provide excellent client service and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
9. Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to ensure timely and successful completion of tasks
10. Adhere to UBS’s policies and procedures
