- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into potential financial crimes, utilizing all available resources and techniques.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial crime trends and methods, and provide guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure a holistic approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills and tools to identify patterns and trends in data that may indicate fraudulent or criminal activity.
- Conduct interviews and gather evidence from various internal and external sources to support investigations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on investigation findings, including recommendations for corrective action.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to financial crime prevention, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and investigations.
- Proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and make recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to prevent future incidents.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge related to financial crime investigations.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Investigative Or Compliance Role, Preferably In The Financial Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Financial Regulations And Compliance Procedures.
