In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Canadian market operations, driving growth and profitability, and developing and executing strategic plans to achieve our business objectives.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives in the Canadian market.
  2. Lead and manage the Canadian market operations, including overseeing all aspects of the business such as sales, trading, and risk management.
  3. Drive growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and effectively managing resources.
  4. Stay updated on market trends and regulatory developments in the Canadian financial industry, and use this knowledge to inform decision-making and drive business success.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  6. Foster a culture of excellence and high performance within the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
  7. Monitor and analyze market performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize business operations.
  8. Collaborate with other global markets leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in business operations and strategies.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  10. Represent UBS and the Global Markets division in external events and conferences, promoting the company's brand and reputation.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Global Markets: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Global Markets Industry, With A Deep Understanding Of The Canadian Market And Its Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Head Of Global Markets, Canada, The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Leading And Managing A Team Of Traders, Salespeople, And Analysts.
