  1. Conduct research and analysis on potential investment opportunities and present findings to senior team members.
  2. Collaborate with senior team members to develop financial models and create presentations for clients.
  3. Assist in the execution of deals and transactions, including conducting due diligence and preparing necessary documentation.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional service and support.
  5. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to identify potential opportunities for the bank.
  6. Participate in meetings and calls with clients, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams within the bank to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  8. Mentor and train junior team members on investment banking processes and procedures.
  9. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.
  10. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Global Banking division by actively seeking out new business opportunities.
  11. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  12. Represent UBS in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Academic Background: A Global Banking - Investment Banking Associate At Ubs Is Expected To Have A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field From A Reputable University. An Advanced Degree Such As An Mba Is Preferred.

  • Relevant Work Experience: Ubs Looks For Candidates With 2-3 Years Of Experience In Investment Banking Or Related Fields Such As Corporate Finance, Mergers And Acquisitions, Or Capital Markets. Previous Experience In A Global Banking Environment Is A Plus.

  • Analytical Skills: As An Investment Banking Associate, One Must Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Evaluate Financial Data, Perform Complex Financial Modeling, And Identify Potential Risks And Opportunities For Clients.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of An Investment Banking Associate Requires Constant Interaction With Clients, Senior Bankers, And Other Team Members. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Investment Banking Is A Fast-Paced Industry, And Associates Are Expected To Work Long Hours And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously. The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines Is A Must For This Role At Ubs.
