- Provide legal counsel and guidance to the organization on a variety of employment-related matters, including but not limited to hiring, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and termination.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's policies and practices are in compliance.
- Advise the company on potential legal risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR and management, to develop and implement employment-related policies and procedures.
- Review and negotiate employment-related contracts, such as severance agreements and non-compete agreements.
- Provide legal support and representation in employment-related litigation and disputes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees and managers on employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and advise on their engagement for specialized matters.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for the organization on employment legal matters.
- Monitor and track changes in employment laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Admission To The State Bar Association And In Good Standing.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law, Preferably In A Large Corporate Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including But Not Limited To Title Vii, Ada, Adea, And Fmla.
Excellent Written And Oral Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Represent Clients In Complex Employment Matters.
