  1. Utilize quantitative skills and expertise in electronic foreign exchange (eFX) trading to develop and implement effective trading strategies.
  2. Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in eFX trading to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  3. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new eFX trading algorithms and models.
  4. Analyze and interpret large sets of data to make informed trading decisions.
  5. Monitor and manage risk exposure on eFX trades in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  6. Constantly learn and stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in eFX trading technology.
  7. Utilize problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in eFX trading.
  8. Communicate with clients and colleagues to provide updates on trading strategies and performance.
  9. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to execute trades in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as technology and risk management, to ensure smooth and efficient eFX trading operations.
  11. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all trading activities.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on eFX trading for colleagues and clients.
  13. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the eFX trading department at UBS.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets: A Successful Efx Quant Trader At Ubs Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Financial Markets, Including Knowledge Of Macroeconomic Factors, Currency Markets, And Trading Strategies.

  • Advanced Quantitative Skills: Quantitative Analysis Is A Critical Aspect Of Efx Trading, And Candidates For This Role Should Possess Advanced Skills In Statistics, Mathematics, And Programming Languages Such As Python, R, Or C++.

  • Experience In Electronic Trading: Ubs Is A Leading Provider Of Electronic Fx Trading Services, So Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience In Electronic Trading Systems, Including Knowledge Of Algorithmic Trading And Execution Strategies.

  • Risk Management Expertise: As An Efx Quant Trader, One Of The Key Responsibilities Is Managing Risk And Ensuring That Trading Activities Are Within The Firm's Risk Appetite.
