Director, Risk Model Governance

Provide input on model risk management governance, policies and risk appetite to ensure appropriate measurement and mitigation of related risk, supporting compliance with key US regulatory requirements for model risk management, including SR 11-7 and SR 15-18. Primary areas of responsibility: model governance committees, policy, audit and regulatory response, including driving model governance processes for CCAR. As Secretary of CUSO model governance board, define agenda, coordinate input and follow-up actions, and ensure appropriate updates and escalations to senior risk committees. Work with Group risk policy team to ensure US entity requirements are factored into policy changes; responsible for development (where required), endorsement / approval process and implementation of US-specific model risk policies. Coordinate response to regulator exams and meetings including tracking requested items, drafting (where applicable) and collating the responses, having them reviewed and approved, maintaining the answers in a repository and supporting preparation for meetings with regulators.
