Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Incident Responder to join our team. As a Cyber Incident Responder at UBS, you will be responsible for detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats to our organization.   1. Monitor and analyze cyber threat intelligence to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities to UBS's systems and data.
  2. Respond to cyber incidents in a timely manner and follow established procedures for containment, eradication, and recovery.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to investigate and resolve cyber incidents.
  4. Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of cyber incidents and recommend remediation actions.
  5. Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
  7. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams within UBS on cybersecurity matters.
  9. Participate in tabletop exercises and other training activities to ensure preparedness for cyber incidents.
  10. Act as a liaison with external parties, such as law enforcement and regulatory agencies, during cyber incident response.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, regarding cyber incident response activities and findings.
  12. Continuously review and improve the incident response process to enhance UBS's cyber defenses.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of cyber incidents and response activities.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to cybersecurity.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for cybersecurity within UBS and the broader industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Practices: A Cyber Incident Responder At Ubs Must Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Current Cybersecurity Practices And Protocols To Effectively Detect, Analyze, And Respond To Cyber Threats.

  • Technical Expertise: Candidates Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Various Operating Systems, Programming Languages, Network Protocols, And Other Technical Tools Used In Incident Response.

  • Incident Response Experience: Ubs Looks For Individuals With Prior Experience In Incident Response, Preferably In A Financial Institution Or A Large Organization, To Handle Complex Cyber Incidents Efficiently.

  • Analytical Skills: Cyber Incident Responders Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Understand The Root Cause Of A Cyber Incident. They Must Be Able To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data And Apply Critical Thinking To Make Informed Decisions.

  • Communication And Teamwork: Effective Communication Skills Are Crucial For This Role As Cyber Incident Responders Must Be Able To Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Must Also Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members, Including It Security Professionals And Legal Teams, To Resolve Cyber Incidents.
