UBS is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Compliance Executive Director for our investment banking division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's compliance with all applicable regulations and laws, as well as developing and implementing effective compliance procedures.   1. Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies for the investment banking division of the company.
  2. Ensure that the firm is in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  3. Monitor and report on the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements, including conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
  4. Advise senior management on potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.
  5. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry standards, and proactively adapt compliance procedures as needed.
  6. Conduct training and education sessions for employees on compliance-related matters.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal and Risk Management, to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance across the organization.
  8. Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and handle any compliance-related inquiries or investigations.
  9. Conduct internal investigations as needed and recommend corrective actions to address any compliance issues.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.
  11. Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  12. Foster a culture of compliance within the investment banking division, promoting ethical behavior and accountability.
  13. Represent the investment banking division in compliance-related meetings and conferences.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve compliance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  15. Uphold the company's high standards of integrity and ethical conduct at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Compliance And Risk Management In The Investment Banking Industry, With A Minimum Of 10 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards, Including But Not Limited To Dodd-Frank, Mifid Ii, And Basel Iii.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Compliance Programs And Policies Within A Large Financial Institution.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Regulators, And Internal Audit Teams.

  • A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Law, Or A Related Field, And Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crcm) Or Certified Financial Services Auditor (Cfsa).
