- Develop and implement control room policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of control room processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations in the financial services industry and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of control room professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify any potential compliance issues and develop action plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure consistent and effective compliance practices across the organization.
- Communicate and liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance violations or breaches.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Regularly report on the status of compliance efforts to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Promote a culture of ethical behavior and integrity throughout the organization.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and make recommendations for implementing them within the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve the control room function to ensure it meets the changing needs of the business.

Strong Leadership Skills: The C&Orc Control Room Head Must Have Demonstrated Experience In Leading A Team And Managing Complex Projects In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Decision-Making Skills To Effectively Guide Their Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulations And Compliance: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Financial Regulations And Compliance Standards In The Emea Region, Particularly In The Areas Of Market Abuse, Insider Trading, And Conflicts Of Interest. The Candidate Must Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Enforcing Compliance Policies And Procedures.
Experience In Risk Management: The C&Orc Control Room Head Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Analyzing Potential Risks To The Organization And Implementing Risk Mitigation Strategies. They Must Have A Strong Background In Risk Management And Be Able To Assess And Respond To Potential Threats To The Business.
Financial Industry Experience: A Strong Background In The Financial Industry Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Position, Preferably In A Global Investment Bank. They Should Be Knowledgeable About The Industry And Have A Strong Understanding Of Market Dynamics And Trends.
