Job Description

At UBS, our Business Risk Specialists play a critical role in helping us maintain our commitment to the highest levels of operational integrity. We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in risk management and has the qualifications and experience necessary to make an immediate impact in this important role.We require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in risk management, or a combination of relevant experience and education. You should also have a strong understanding of risk management processes and practices, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with peers and stakeholders. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.If you have the qualifications and experience necessary for this role, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a respected global financial services organization, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities of a Business Risk Specialist at UBS:

  1. Monitor and assess risks associated with financial transactions and operations.
  2. Analyze current risk management processes and recommend changes to improve operational integrity.
  3. Implement risk management policies and procedures.
  4. Develop relationships with peers and stakeholders to ensure efficient collaboration and risk management.
  5. Conduct regular reviews of financial records and transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  6. Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on best practices in risk management.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  8. Monitor and analyze industry trends and assess potential impacts on risk management.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations related to risk management.
  10. Develop risk management training and education programs.
