  • Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to support the design and installation of electrical systems in GSA facilities.
  • Conduct thorough electrical system inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system problems.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance plans for electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for all electrical systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and recommend ways to incorporate new technologies into GSA facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor junior engineering technicians, as needed.
  • Support emergency response efforts related to electrical system failures or malfunctions.
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on project progress, issues, and recommendations.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Adhere to GSA policies and procedures at all times.
  • Represent the GSA in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Knowledge Of Electrical Systems, Components, And Equipment

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings And Schematics

  • Familiarity With Relevant Safety Standards And Regulations, Such As Nfpa 70E And Osha Guidelines
