
Building Manager

- Oversee the daily operations of GSA facilities, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and effectively for the benefit of federal agencies and the American people.
- Manage and supervise a team of building maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with federal agencies to understand their specific facility needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for building maintenance issues, responding to and resolving any concerns or emergencies that may arise.
- Monitor building systems and equipment, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to ensure they are in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all building maintenance activities, including repair requests, work orders, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality completion of maintenance and repair projects.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve building operations and reduce costs, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with GSA leadership and federal agencies to provide updates on building maintenance activities and address any concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in building maintenance and facility management.
- Uphold a professional and positive image of GSA and its facilities to federal agencies, the public, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Management, Real Estate, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Property Or Building Management.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Procedures Related To Building Management, Including Gsa Policies.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Tenants, Contractors, And Government Officials.
Previous Experience In Budget Management And Financial Analysis, Including Creating And Managing Operating Budgets.
