Job Description

  1. Oversee the maintenance and operation of federal buildings to ensure they are safe and functional for employees and visitors.
  2. Develop and implement building maintenance plans to ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of all building systems and components.
  3. Monitor building operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems, to identify and address any issues in a timely manner.
  4. Manage building maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and within budget.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of the buildings to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  6. Coordinate with federal agencies and other stakeholders to understand their specific needs and ensure that building operations meet their requirements.
  7. Maintain accurate records of building maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, invoices, and maintenance schedules.
  8. Implement and enforce GSA and federal building policies and procedures to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to building tenants and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Continuously seek out ways to improve building operations and find cost-effective solutions to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Real Estate, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Property Management, Preferably In A Government Or Commercial Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Environmental Standards.

  • Experience In Budgeting, Financial Management, And Contract Negotiation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Tenants, Contractors, And Government Officials.
