
Assistant Merchandising Product Manager
TUMI is looking for an experienced and creative Assistant Merchandising Product Manager to join our team and be part of a fast-growing and dynamic organization. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about product management and has a keen eye for detail. He/she should be someone who can drive results and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, the Assistant Merchandising Product Manager should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the fashion/retail industry. The candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. He/she should be highly organized and have the ability to think strategically. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize product sales and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to inform product development and identify areas of opportunity.
- Lead the product development process, from concept to launch, including selection of materials and fabrics, product design, pricing, and packaging.
- Provide product training to the sales and retail teams.
- Prepare and manage the product and merchandising budgets.
- Work closely with design and production teams to ensure products are delivered on time and to spec.
- Maintain detailed product information in the inventory management systems.
- Analyze post-launch sales data and customer feedback to inform future product strategies.
- Establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate trade shows, expositions, and other marketing events.
