- Conduct and coordinate clinical research studies in accordance with ethical principles, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement study protocols, including recruitment and retention strategies.
- Obtain informed consent from study participants and ensure their rights and safety are protected throughout the study.
- Perform various clinical procedures, such as obtaining and processing samples, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
- Accurately and timely record data and maintain study documentation, including case report forms and source documents.
- Monitor study participants for adverse events and report them to the appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the smooth operation of research studies.
- Maintain knowledge of current research practices, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality data collection.
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively with study participants, researchers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a liaison between study participants and researchers, addressing any questions or concerns that arise.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all study-related information.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through presentations, publications, and conferences.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the research team and the institution as a whole.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Research Setting, Preferably In An Academic Or University Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, With A Focus On Research Or Evidence-Based Practice.
Active Rn License In The State Of Louisiana.
Strong Knowledge Of Research Methodology And Data Collection Techniques.
