- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, taking messages and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain patient records and ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, collecting payments and providing receipts.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Prepare patient rooms for examinations and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies.
- Monitor and maintain medical office inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with other medical office staff to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
- Attend training and educational sessions to maintain certification and stay updated on industry standards.

Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Professionalism And Discretion.
Completion Of A Certified Medical Office Assistant Program Or Equivalent Training.
