Welcome to Tulane University! We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our Human Resources team as the Manager of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the management and development of our HRIS function, ensuring the effective use of technology to support our employees and enhance the overall efficiency of our HR processes.   1. Develop and manage the HRIS function, ensuring the effective and efficient use of technology to support our employees and HR processes.
  2. Plan and oversee the implementation of new HRIS systems, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for all HRIS-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate resolution to ensure employee satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement new HRIS systems and functionalities.
  5. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all HRIS systems, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HRIS systems, utilizing this knowledge to continuously improve and optimize our current systems.
  7. Train and support HR staff on the proper use of HRIS systems and processes, providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
  8. Develop and maintain HRIS-related policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  9. Analyze and report on HRIS data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes.
  10. Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective utilization of vendor services.
  11. Oversee the maintenance and security of HRIS systems, including user access, data backups, and disaster recovery plans.
  12. Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and optimization of HRIS systems and processes.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hris Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Hris Systems, Including Experience With Implementation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Proven Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr Staff, It Professionals, And Vendors.
