- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives at Tulane University.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.
- Mentor and guide aspiring entrepreneurs, providing support and expertise in all stages of the startup process.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and investors to support the growth of our entrepreneurial community.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to bring fresh ideas and strategies to our programs.
- Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and other educational programs to educate and inspire students and community members.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for entrepreneurship, promoting the benefits and opportunities it offers.
- Collaborate with other university departments and organizations to maximize resources and support for our entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Evaluate the success and impact of our programs and make recommendations for improvement and growth.
- Represent Tulane University and our entrepreneurship community at events and conferences, both locally and nationally.
Extensive Entrepreneurial Experience: A Strong Candidate For An Entrepreneur In Residence Position At Tulane University Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Launching And Growing Successful Businesses. This Experience Could Be In A Variety Of Industries And Should Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Identify Opportunities, Take Calculated Risks, And Drive Results.
Leadership And Mentorship Skills: As An Entrepreneur In Residence, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Guide And Mentor Students, Faculty, And Staff In Entrepreneurship. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Share Knowledge Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
