- Provide individual and group therapy services to students with diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address mental health concerns.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support students in urgent situations.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and campus resources to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and consultations to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide outreach and education programs to promote mental wellness and reduce stigma.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of clinical work.
- Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students seeking services.
- Serve as an advocate for mental health and well-being on campus.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all students.
- Collaborate with community resources to refer students to appropriate services when needed.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, compassion, and excellence in the delivery of mental health services.
Licensure As A Clinical Therapist In The State Of Louisiana, Or Ability To Obtain Licensure Within 6 Months Of Hire.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Providing Individual And Group Therapy In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A University Or Counseling Center Setting.
Knowledge And Experience With Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions, Such As Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Or Acceptance And Commitment Therapy.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Culturally-Sensitive Therapy To A Diverse Student Population.
