- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all campus housing facilities.
- Ensure that all housing facilities meet safety and health standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all housing facilities.
- Monitor and manage the budget for housing facility maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with university departments and outside vendors to coordinate repairs and renovations.
- Conduct regular inspections of housing facilities to identify and address any issues.
- Respond promptly to any housing facility emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate regularly with students and staff regarding housing facility updates and issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all housing facility maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of housing facilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for housing facility management.
- Assist in the development of long-term plans for housing facility improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and address any concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with other university departments to ensure the success of housing facility operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Protocols, And Best Practices For Managing A Large Housing Facility.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Of Maintenance And Custodial Staff.
Experience With Budget Management, Project Planning, And Vendor Management.
