  1. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all campus housing facilities.
  2. Ensure that all housing facilities meet safety and health standards.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all housing facilities.
  4. Monitor and manage the budget for housing facility maintenance and repairs.
  5. Collaborate with university departments and outside vendors to coordinate repairs and renovations.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of housing facilities to identify and address any issues.
  7. Respond promptly to any housing facility emergencies and take appropriate action.
  8. Supervise a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  9. Communicate regularly with students and staff regarding housing facility updates and issues.
  10. Maintain accurate records of all housing facility maintenance and repairs.
  11. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of housing facilities.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for housing facility management.
  13. Assist in the development of long-term plans for housing facility improvements.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to students and address any concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
  15. Attend meetings and collaborate with other university departments to ensure the success of housing facility operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Protocols, And Best Practices For Managing A Large Housing Facility.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Of Maintenance And Custodial Staff.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Project Planning, And Vendor Management.
