Develop and implement network edge security strategies and protocols to protect our organization's infrastructure and data.
Oversee and manage a team of network security engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop plans to address them.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our network security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet the needs of our business and clients.
Monitor network security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security threats in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
Communicate and report on network security issues, risks, and incidents to senior management and other stakeholders.
Work closely with vendors and partners to evaluate and implement new security products and technologies.
Foster a culture of security awareness and education within the organization by conducting training sessions and promoting best practices.
Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of security projects and initiatives.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization on network security matters.
Continuously evaluate and improve network security processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to business operations.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Network Security: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Network Security Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Emerging Technologies.
Proven Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Network Security Engineers. Therefore, They Should Have A Successful Track Record Of Managing And Motivating A Team To Achieve Results.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Edge Security: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Network Edge Security, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Vpns, And Other Related Technologies.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Manager, Effective Communication And Collaboration With Other Teams And Stakeholders Is Crucial. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field Is Preferred For This Role. A Master's Degree Is A Plus. Relevant Industry Certifications, Such As Cissp Or Ccnp, Are Also Highly Desirable.
