Manager, Data Center Operations

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Manager of Data Center Operations to join our team at TTEC. Our ideal candidate will possess the required qualifications while bringing an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to the role. The Manager of Data Center Operations will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of our data center, while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. He/she will be a leader in developing and executing plans to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability. This role will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of the data center environment, and will play an integral part in the development and mentorship of other data center staff.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in managing a data center. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, and storage systems, as well as experience in troubleshooting data center environment issues. Strong project management and communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, including the management of server hardware, virtualization, and storage systems.
2. Maintain operational compliance with established policies and procedures.
3. Develop and execute plans to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of the data center environment.
4. Track and monitor data center performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Ensure that the data center environment is secure and compliant with industry standards.
6. Develop and implement strategies to reduce downtime and ensure maximum uptime.
7. Provide mentorship and guidance to other data center staff.
8. Monitor and manage data center budgets.
9. Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve data center issues.
10. Keep up to date on new technologies, trends, and best practices in the data center industry.
