  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive vulnerability management strategy to identify, prioritize, and remediate potential vulnerabilities within Truist Financial's systems and infrastructure.
  2. Oversee and lead a team of vulnerability management analysts, providing guidance and direction to ensure timely and effective identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks to Truist Financial's systems and infrastructure.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure all vulnerabilities are properly identified and remediated in a timely manner.
  5. Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses and prioritize remediation efforts.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and industry experts to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in vulnerability management.
  7. Create and maintain documentation related to vulnerability management processes, procedures, and findings.
  8. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on vulnerability management efforts and any potential risks or vulnerabilities.
  9. Monitor and track the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring all identified vulnerabilities are addressed within established timelines.
  10. Continuously assess and improve the vulnerability management program, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the overall security posture of Truist Financial.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Vulnerability Management Processes And Best Practices: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Vulnerability Management Methodologies, Tools, And Techniques, As Well As Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Iso 27001 And Pci Dss.

  • Experience In Leading A Team: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Managing A Team Of Vulnerability Management Professionals And Guiding Them Towards Achieving Set Goals And Objectives.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Technical Background With Experience In Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, And Other Security Testing Methodologies. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Network And System Architecture.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Leader, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate Effectively With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, It Teams, And External Vendors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Vulnerabilities In A Timely And Efficient Manner. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Provide Actionable Recommendations To Improve The Overall Security Posture Of The Organization.
