Software Engineer - Mainframe

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer - Mainframe to join the Truist Financial team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software engineering, a strong background in mainframe development, and an aptitude for problem-solving. The successful candidate will be someone who can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience working with mainframe technologies such as IBM z/OS, CICS, and COBOL. You should also have experience working with databases such as DB2 and IMS, and be knowledgeable of mainframe security, networking, and system performance.
