  1. Develop and execute product strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the product strategy by setting clear goals, identifying key performance indicators, and making data-driven decisions to drive innovation and improve product performance.
  2. Drive product innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and enhancements that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and timely delivery of product initiatives. Provide clear and concise direction to team members and foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  4. Monitor product performance: Monitor key product metrics and conduct regular analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements. Communicate product performance and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  5. Manage product backlog: Prioritize and manage the product backlog in line with the product strategy and company goals. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, and ensure that user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined for the development team.
  6. Champion customer needs: Act as the voice of the customer and represent their needs and preferences in all product decision-making. Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product roadmap and feature development.
  7. Ensure product quality: Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and usability. Conduct user acceptance testing and provide feedback to the development team to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards.
  8. Provide leadership and mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior product owners and team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and results to ensure alignment and support.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Management: A Senior Product Owner At Truist Financial Must Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Launching Products In A Large Organization.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Product Owner, The Individual Must Be Able To Effectively Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Have Experience In Managing And Mentoring Junior Product Owners.

  • Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities: A Senior Product Owner Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Strategically To Identify Market Trends, Customer Needs, And Competitive Landscape To Make Informed Product Decisions.

  • Technical Knowledge And Understanding: Truist Financial Deals With Complex Financial Products And Services, And A Senior Product Owner Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Technology And Its Impact On The Business. They Should Be Able To Collaborate With Technical Teams To Ensure The Successful Delivery Of Products.

  • Agile Methodology Expertise: Truist Financial Follows An Agile Methodology, And A Senior Product Owner Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Agile Principles And Practices. They Should Have Experience In Leading Agile Teams And Driving Continuous Improvement In Product Development Processes.
