- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
- Create and deliver effective and impactful communications to key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and investors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and craft messaging that aligns with the company's objectives and values.
- Write and edit a variety of communication materials, including press releases, internal memos, speeches, and presentations.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication.
- Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the company, representing Truist Financial in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
- Develop relationships with key media contacts and manage media inquiries and requests.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new communication trends to continuously improve the company's communication strategy.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including reviewing and providing feedback on their work.
- Handle crisis communication situations in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in the development and execution of corporate events and initiatives.
- Maintain and uphold the company's brand standards and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all departments.
- Continuously track and report on the success and impact of communication efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Communications Role, Preferably In The Financial Industry.
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Create And Deliver Presentations.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Communication Plans.
Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
