Job Description

Truist Financial is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who is passionate about financial services and has an extensive understanding of financial regulations. The Regulatory Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing and monitoring the preparation and filing of regulatory reports, and ensuring that the reporting is accurate and timely.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in a financial regulatory reporting role. Expert knowledge of banking regulations and reporting requirements is essential, as is the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements. The Regulatory Reporting Manager must also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and monitor the preparation and filing of regulatory reports.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reports.
  3. Interpret and analyze financial statements.
  4. Stay up to date with applicable banking regulations and reporting requirements.
  5. Communicate effectively with other departments.
  6. Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency of regulatory reporting processes.
  7. Monitor and review regulatory reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  8. Provide timely feedback and guidance to staff on regulatory reporting requirements.
  9. Identify and resolve any discrepancies in regulatory reports.
  10. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies.
