- Lead and provide technical guidance for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Truist Financial's Azure platform.
- Design and build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for all things related to Azure, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of Azure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Azure platform processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of the Azure platform through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Azure platform.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, providing recommendations and solutions as needed.
- Stay current on industry developments and trends in cloud technology, and make recommendations for incorporating new tools and practices into the Azure platform.
- Collaborate with vendors and other external partners to ensure the successful integration of new technologies and services into the Azure platform.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Extensive Experience With Azure Cloud Technologies: This Includes Expertise In Building, Deploying, And Managing Applications And Services On The Azure Platform. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Azure Services Such As Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, And Azure Networking.
Proficiency In Devops Practices: The Lead Azure Platform Engineer Should Possess Strong Skills In Implementing Devops Practices Such As Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, And Infrastructure As Code. They Should Also Have Experience With Tools Like Azure Devops, Git, And Jenkins.
Strong Knowledge Of Automation And Scripting: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Automation And Scripting Tools Such As Powershell, Arm Templates, And Terraform. They Should Be Able To Automate Infrastructure And Deployment Processes To Streamline Operations And Improve Efficiency.
Familiarity With Security Best Practices: The Lead Azure Platform Engineer Should Have A Firm Grasp Of Security Best Practices And Be Able To Implement Them In Azure Environments. This Includes Managing User Access And Permissions, Implementing Security Controls, And Monitoring For Potential Threats.
