  1. Develop and implement overall IT audit strategy for Truist Financial, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage all IT audit activities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  3. Identify and assess potential risks to the company's technology systems and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of IT auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure high quality and timely deliverables.
  7. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of any outstanding issues.
  10. Conduct regular risk assessments and provide guidance to management on potential areas of vulnerability.
  11. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the IT audit function.
  12. Collaborate with external auditors and regulators as needed to ensure compliance with external requirements.
  13. Provide leadership and strategic direction to the IT audit team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  14. Manage budget and resource allocation for the IT audit function.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT audit matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In It Audit And Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In It Audit And Risk Management, With A Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In A Similar Role.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards: The It Audit Director Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements And Standards Such As Sox, Coso, And Cobit.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of It Auditors, As Well As Work With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Organizational Objectives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The It Audit Director Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Professional Certifications: Preferred Certifications For This Role May Include Cisa, Cissp, Or Other Relevant It Audit Certifications. These Certifications Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of It Audit Principles And Best Practices.
