  1. Develop and implement strategies for optimizing payroll processes and systems, with a focus on Workday Payroll.
  2. Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Payroll and provide guidance and support to HR and payroll teams.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and requirements related to payroll.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  5. Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  6. Manage and oversee the implementation of new payroll-related features and updates in Workday.
  7. Train and support HR and payroll teams on Workday Payroll functionality and best practices.
  8. Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Workday Payroll to continuously improve processes and systems.
  10. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support payroll operations.
  11. Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives related to payroll.
  12. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
  13. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for payroll processes.
  14. Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate within the HR and payroll function.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Workday Payroll: The Hr Product Owner Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Workday Payroll System And Its Functionalities. They Should Be Able To Navigate The System Efficiently And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Experience In Hr And Payroll: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Hr And Payroll Processes, Preferably In A Large Organization. This Will Enable Them To Understand The Needs And Requirements Of The Hr Team And Effectively Translate Them Into Workday Payroll Solutions.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Product Owner, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing The Implementation Of New Features And Updates To The Workday Payroll System. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Including Planning, Organizing, And Prioritizing Tasks, Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Hr Product Owner Will Be Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr Teams, It Teams, And External Vendors. Therefore, Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Crucial In Order To Gather Requirements, Provide Updates, And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Hr Product Owner Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Data And Identify Trends Or Issues Within The Workday Payroll System.
