  • Lead and oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Workday Payroll system for Truist Financial
  • Manage and optimize the payroll processes for the organization to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the Workday Payroll system
  • Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR technology and payroll management to continuously improve processes and systems
  • Act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries and escalations, providing timely and accurate support to employees and stakeholders
  • Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to implement new payroll features and functionality and maintain existing ones
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and collaboration in all payroll-related activities
  • Train and support end-users on the Workday Payroll system to ensure proper utilization and adoption
  • Proactively identify and address any potential risks or compliance issues related to payroll processes and systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Workday Payroll: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Workday Payroll And Its Functionalities. This Includes Experience With Configuration, Troubleshooting, And Overall Management Of The System.

  • Hr And Payroll Knowledge: A Deep Understanding Of Hr And Payroll Processes Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Payroll Calculations, Tax Regulations, And Compliance Requirements. Previous Experience Working With Workday Hr And Payroll Modules Is Highly Preferred.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Product Owner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Overseeing The Development Of Workday Payroll At Truist Financial. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills Are A Must. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Plan, Organize, And Execute Projects Related To Workday Payroll.

  • Communication And Collaboration: The Hr Product Owner Will Be Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr, It, And Finance Teams. As Such, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Project Updates, Gather Feedback, And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Solve Complex Problems Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Use Data To Make Informed Decisions, Troubleshoot Issues, And Drive Continuous Improvement Within The Workday Payroll System.
