  1. Provide administrative support to the government relations team by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents and materials.
  2. Conduct research on legislative and regulatory issues, including tracking proposed policies and analyzing their potential impact on Truist Financial.
  3. Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including reports, briefings, and updates on relevant legislation and regulations.
  4. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and community organizations.
  5. Assist with the planning and execution of events, such as advocacy days and policy forums, to promote Truist Financial's interests and build relationships with policymakers.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure alignment with government affairs activities and messaging.
  7. Monitor and analyze political and economic developments that may impact Truist Financial and provide updates to the government relations team.
  8. Manage the company's political action committee (PAC) by maintaining accurate records, coordinating fundraising efforts, and filing required reports.
  9. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed on emerging issues and network with other government affairs professionals.
  10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information and interactions with government officials.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Political Science, Public Policy, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Government Affairs, Legislative Advocacy, Or Political Campaign Work.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Legislative Processes And Regulations.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Policy Issues To Various Stakeholders.

  • Experience Working In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment And The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Priorities Simultaneously.
