In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the risk governance and reporting functions within Global Corporate and Commercial (GCO) Banking. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of risk management principles and experience in reporting and analysis.   1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk governance framework for GCO Banking in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential risks to the organization, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  3. Monitor and report on key risk indicators, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with various teams within the organization to gather data and information for risk reporting and analysis.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance risk reporting and governance processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes related to risk management.
  7. Communicate risk management policies and procedures to employees to ensure compliance and understanding.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective risk management across the organization.
  9. Conduct regular reviews and audits of risk management processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and provide guidance and training to team members and other departments within the organization.
  12. Proactively identify potential risks and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain crisis management plans.
  14. Ensure all risk management activities are in line with Truist's values and ethical standards.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all risk management policies, procedures, and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Or Financial Reporting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Regulations And Risk Management Frameworks, Including Basel Iii And Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis, With Experience In Using Tools Such As Excel, Sas, Or Tableau.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
