Job Description

As a key member of our risk management division, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating data risks across the company.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive data risk strategy for the organization, in alignment with Truist Financial's overall risk management framework.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential data risks and vulnerabilities across the company's systems and processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.
  4. Monitor and analyze data risk metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to data security and risk management, and proactively make recommendations for process improvements.
  6. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to data risk management and ensure compliance across the organization.
  7. Conduct regular training and awareness programs to educate employees on data security best practices and their role in mitigating data risks.
  8. Investigate and respond to data security incidents and breaches, working with relevant teams to contain and remediate any potential risks.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on data risk management, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  10. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of the organization's data risk management program, making necessary adjustments as needed.
