
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader
Truist Financial is seeking an experienced and passionate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leader who will be a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the firm. The DEI Leader will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive DEI strategy to ensure Truist is a model of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the principles of DEI, as well as experience in designing and delivering DEI initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a culture of inclusion and to enable Truist to reach its full potential. Qualifications:• Proven track record of success in developing, implementing, and sustaining DEI initiatives. • Experience in developing DEI strategies and evaluating their effectiveness. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders. • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the organization. • Knowledge of DEI policies and practices, and experience in developing DEI training materials. • Demonstrated commitment to DEI principles and a passion for creating an inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive DEI strategy to ensure Truist is a model of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Design and deliver DEI initiatives that meet the organization's DEI goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure DEI initiatives are successful.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all levels of the organization are involved in DEI initiatives.
- Develop DEI policies and practices, and create DEI training materials.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
- Ensure Truist is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Build relationships and collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive workplace.
- Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the firm.
- Research and stay up-to-date on best practices in DEI.
