Data Science Intern

We are looking for an exceptional Data Science Intern to join the Data Science team at Truist Financial. In this role, you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision making and help the team create insights and strategies to drive business results. You must be an analytical problem solver and creative thinker to be successful in this role. As the Data Science Intern, you must have a strong technical aptitude and an understanding of data science tools and techniques. A successful candidate will be an independent learner, capable of researching and finding solutions. You must have a passion for data, and a desire to tackle challenging problems. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and be comfortable working with a team of data analysts. Additionally, you must be highly organized, have the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and be able to work independently. Responsibilities:

• Utilize data science tools and techniques to create insights and strategies that drive business results
• Analyze data to find solutions to complex problems
• Develop and execute data-driven projects
• Increase data analysis efficiency by exploring and developing data science methods
• Analyze and interpret large data sets
• Research and find creative solutions to problems
• Develop and document data analysis processes
• Collaborate with the Data Science team to ensure efficient use of resources
• Prepare and present data analysis reports
• Develop dashboards and other visualizations to present data in a clear way
• Keep up to date with the latest trends in data science
