- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of data privacy regulations and their implications for the financial industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential risks to client data and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify and analyze potential data privacy issues within our systems and processes, and recommend solutions to address them.
- Monitor and track data privacy incidents, and ensure timely and appropriate responses, including communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data privacy matters, providing guidance and support to various teams within the organization.
- Develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure company-wide adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Stay informed of industry developments and changes in data privacy regulations, and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures as needed.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain security measures to protect client data.
- Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries regarding data privacy and security measures in place at Truist Financial.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data privacy processes and controls to ensure the highest level of protection for client data.
- Educate and train employees on data privacy policies and procedures to promote a culture of privacy and security awareness within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Data Privacy Or Information Security Analysis.
Strong Understanding Of Data Privacy Laws And Regulations, Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Hipaa.
Experience With Data Privacy Frameworks And Risk Assessment Methodologies.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
