
Data Governance Consultant
Truist Financial is looking for a highly experienced Data Governance Consultant to join our team and help ensure our data remains accurate, consistent and secure. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data and a commitment to excellence. We require a minimum of 5 years' experience in data governance, data quality management, data privacy, and/or data security. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver who can work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities. Responsibilities:
- Develop data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of Truist Financial’s data.
- Monitor data quality, data privacy, and data security standards and suggest changes as needed.
- Analyze data to identify gaps, trends, and inconsistencies.
- Develop data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure data integrity by developing processes and procedures for managing changes to data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and compliance with data governance policies.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to ensure data consistency across systems.
- Monitor data security and privacy policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on data governance policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of industry developments in data governance and data quality management.
