Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to think strategically to protect our infrastructure and data from malicious actors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and be able to use their skills to identify, monitor, and respond to cyber threats. They will have the ability to analyze data and trends to identify and mitigate risks while working collaboratively with other departments.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They must also have in-depth knowledge of security principles, network security, and endpoint security. Additionally, they must possess excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and organizational skills.We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and is eager to learn and develop their skills. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies to protect Truist Financial’s infrastructure and data from malicious actors.
2. Identify, monitor, and respond to cyber threats.
3. Analyze data and trends to identify and mitigate risks.
4. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure security protocols are followed.
5. Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity information and trends.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to other departments.
7. Develop training materials to educate colleagues on cybersecurity best practices.
8. Monitor and analyze logs and network traffic for suspicious activity.
9. Work with vendors to ensure system security and compliance.
10. Document security breaches and advise on corrective actions.
