- Manage all aspects of the Identity Access Management (IAM) systems for the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current IAM policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Design and implement IAM solutions to meet the security and compliance needs of the organization.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of IAM systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting security standards.
- Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to continuously improve the overall security posture of the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends and make recommendations to proactively safeguard against them.
- Work closely with other teams, such as IT and risk management, to ensure a coordinated and cohesive approach to cybersecurity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM systems, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other teams within the organization on IAM-related matters.
- Participate in incident response and investigations related to IAM systems.
- Identify and address any vulnerabilities or gaps in IAM systems and implement appropriate controls and measures to mitigate them.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and standards related to IAM and ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Mentor and train junior members of the cybersecurity team on IAM concepts and best practices.
- Represent the organization in a professional manner and maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all activities.
Extensive Experience In Identity And Access Management (Iam) Technologies: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Implementing And Maintaining Iam Solutions, Such As Privileged Access Management (Pam), Single Sign-On (Sso), And Multifactor Authentication (Mfa). They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Iam Principles And Best Practices.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: Truist Financial Is A Highly Regulated Organization, And The Senior Engineer Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Nist, Iso, And Gdpr. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Compliance With These Standards.
Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Technical Proficiency In Areas Such As Active Directory, Ldap, Scripting Languages, And Cloud Services. The Senior Engineer Should Also Have Experience In Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Iam Issues.
Leadership And Project Management Abilities: As A Senior Engineer, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Iam Projects, Including Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams And Vendors. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills To Ensure The Successful Delivery Of Projects.
Cybersecurity Expertise: A Cybersecurity Senior Engineer At Truist Financial Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles, Threats, And Vulnerabilities. They Should Also Stay Updated On The Latest Cybersecurity Trends And Technologies To Ensure The Organization's Iam Solutions Are Robust And Secure.
