Job Description

At Truist Financial, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Senior Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of our organization’s networks and systems. You will also provide guidance on security best practices and provide innovative solutions to complex security issues.To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized, have a strong understanding of cyber security protocols and experience working with cyber security tools. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.If you have the qualifications and the drive to help us create a secure environment for our clients, then we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  2. Monitor and analyze network activity for security threats and intrusions.
  3. Perform regular security audits to maintain system integrity and compliance with regulations.
  4. Research, evaluate, and recommend security solutions and tools.
  5. Lead forensic investigations of security incidents.
  6. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  7. Develop and manage user access control policies.
  8. Provide training and guidance to other IT staff on security best practices.
  9. Develop disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  10. Manage security-related projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Or Related Field

  • + Years Of Experience In A Cybersecurity Role

  • Extensive Experience With Network Security

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Operating System Security

  • Ability To Identify And Respond To Security Threats

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Security Policies And Procedures

  • Working Knowledge Of Information Security Standards And Best Practices
