- Conduct regular vulnerability scans on all systems and networks to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and impact.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and provide recommendations for mitigating potential risks.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability scanning policies and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to alerts from vulnerability scanning tools.
- Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop and implement strategies for improving overall security posture.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
- Provide regular reports to management on the status of vulnerability scanning activities and identified risks.
- Act as a subject matter expert on vulnerability scanning and provide guidance and training to other team members.
- Participate in incident response and investigation activities as needed.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and compliance requirements related to vulnerability scanning and ensure the organization is in compliance.
- Respond to and assist with audit and regulatory inquiries related to vulnerability scanning.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of all vulnerability scanning activities.
- Continuously review and improve vulnerability scanning processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Vulnerability Scanning And Remediation.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Best Practices, Industry Standards, And Regulatory Requirements.
Proficiency In Using Vulnerability Scanning Tools And Experience With Vulnerability Management Systems.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Prioritize Potential Vulnerabilities And Assess Their Potential Impact.
