Truist Financial is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with the right combination of technical experience and communication skills to join our team. The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our security systems and processes.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. They will also have experience in cyber security tools, techniques, and best practices, as well as familiarity with system and network security. Additionally, they should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as they will be responsible for providing training and guidance on security policies and procedures.If you have the necessary qualifications and are passionate about working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Engineer:

  1. Design, implement, and manage security systems and processes.
  2. Stay up to date on cyber security tools, techniques, and best practices.
  3. Monitor system and network security.
  4. Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and procedures.
  5. Identify and investigate security breaches and vulnerabilities.
  6. Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
  7. Monitor security systems to ensure their effectiveness.
  8. Analyze log reports to detect security breaches.
  9. Prepare and analyze security audit reports.
  10. Manage security incidents by responding to and resolving any security events.
