
Credit Standards Portfolio Risk Officer

- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments of potential borrowers to determine their creditworthiness and the level of risk they pose to the portfolio
- Develop and maintain credit standards and policies in accordance with industry regulations and company objectives
- Monitor and review the credit portfolio on a regular basis to identify any potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them
- Analyze financial data and credit reports to assess the current and potential credit risk of clients
- Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, lending, and collections to ensure adherence to credit standards and policies
- Communicate credit risk findings and recommendations to senior management and provide guidance on risk management strategies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit risk management
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of credit risk management processes
- Conduct regular trainings and workshops to educate employees on credit standards and risk management best practices
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and credit rating agencies.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Credit Risk Management, Preferably In A Financial Institution.
Knowledge Of Credit Risk Analysis And Portfolio Management Techniques.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices Related To Credit Risk.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Risk Decisions Based On Data And Market Trends.
