  1. Design and implement cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform for Truist Financial.
  2. Ensure the reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure and services.
  3. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to the Azure cloud environment.
  5. Continuously innovate and improve the cloud infrastructure to optimize performance and cost.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and industry best practices.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for the cloud infrastructure and processes.
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any integration or compatibility issues.
  9. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the cloud environment.
  10. Train and mentor junior engineers on Azure cloud technologies.
  11. Communicate technical information and updates to non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cloud infrastructure and security.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to leverage their expertise and resources.
  14. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.
  15. Take ownership of projects and deliver them within set timelines.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Azure: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Azure Cloud Platform, Including Its Services And Features, And Be Able To Effectively Design, Deploy, And Manage Solutions On Azure.

  • Experience With Cloud Infrastructure Management: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing And Maintaining Cloud Infrastructure, Including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, And Security, And Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices For Cloud Management.

  • Knowledge Of Automation Tools: Truist Financial Values Efficiency And Automation, So The Candidate Should Have Experience With Automation Tools Such As Powershell, Azure Automation, And Azure Resource Manager Templates To Streamline Processes And Reduce Manual Tasks.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As An Azure Cloud Engineer At Truist Financial, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Troubleshooting And Resolving Any Issues That May Arise With The Cloud Infrastructure. Therefore, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Think Critically And Analytically.

  • Communication And Teamwork: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams To Understand Business Requirements And Translate Them Into Technical Solutions. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
