  1. Oversee the audit function for model risk management across the organization.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and controls to evaluate model risk and governance.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern.
  5. Review and analyze models to ensure accuracy, validity, and effectiveness.
  6. Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory agencies.

  12. Monitor the effectiveness of the model risk management program and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to model risk management as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards Related To Model Risk Management, Such As Sr 11-7 And Occ 2011-12.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Internal Or External Audit, Risk Management, Or Related Field, With At Least 3 Years In A Managerial Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing A Team And Implementing Process Improvements To Enhance Model Risk Governance.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Financial Products And Modeling Techniques, With The Ability To Assess The Accuracy And Appropriateness Of Models Used Within The Organization.
