  1. Lead and manage audits across the HR, Finance, and Legal Risk functions.
  2. Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and strategies.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  4. Identify potential risks and areas for improvement within the organization.
  5. Conduct thorough and accurate audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  6. Analyze and interpret audit findings to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to communicate audit results and implement corrective actions.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with current standards.
  9. Train and mentor junior audit staff to ensure consistent quality and standards are met.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability for risk management within the organization.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective audits.
  12. Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  13. Proactively identify and address potential conflicts of interest or ethical concerns.
  14. Ensure all audit activities are conducted with integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Hr Policies And Procedures: As An Audit Manager At Truist Financial, You Will Be Responsible For Conducting Audits And Ensuring Compliance With All Hr Policies And Procedures. Therefore, A Thorough Understanding Of Hr Practices, Laws, And Regulations Is Essential.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Finance And Accounting Principles: The Audit Manager Will Also Be Responsible For Reviewing Financial Statements, Assessing Financial Risks, And Ensuring Accuracy In Financial Reporting. This Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Legal Requirements Related To Hr, Finance, And Overall Business Operations.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Audit Manager, You Will Be Expected To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Potential Risks And Issues, And Develop Effective Solutions. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Experience In Audit And Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Audit And Risk Management, Preferably In A Financial Institution. This Includes Experience In Conducting Audits, Identifying And Assessing Risks, And Implementing Controls To Mitigate Risks.
