Truist Financial is searching for an experienced ABL Underwriting Associate to join our team. This individual must have relevant experience in underwriting, portfolio management, and loan documentation. We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and analytical skills who is driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of credit analysis, underwriting policies and procedures, and have the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze potential credit risks, review credit documents, and assess loan applications.
  2. Monitor and review existing loan portfolio to ensure compliance with underwriting policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriting team, and other business partners.
  4. Generate reports on credit quality, portfolio performance, and other relevant metrics.
  5. Prepare credit memos and other loan documents, review legal documents, and recommend loan approval or denial.
  6. Ensure adherence to all regulatory and financial compliance standards.
  7. Participate in ad hoc projects and activities as needed.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, underwriting policies, and best practices.
